What can a partner ask the Sirdar Partner Portal, and why did it move in 2026?

A channel view of the Partner Portal since its 2026 move: what a partner engineer, a partner sales lead and a partner's security desk use it for, and why answers now arrive with the source document attached.

A partner can ask the Sirdar Partner Portal the questions that used to go to a regional team by email: which Kinetic M4 configurations ship with a hot-swap battery, what the acceptance tolerance for a Halo node is, which certifications a named engineer holds and what the current commissioning standard says. In 2026 the portal, including certification tracking and the answers behind every standard, moved to a new platform, so that each answer comes from Sirdar's current documents with the source attached.

What is the Partner Portal for?

For the 224 partners who do every Sirdar installation, it is where Sirdar's current material lives.

Commissioning standards, the Safety Case Standard, datasheets, release notes, the weekly channel bulletin and each partner's own certification record all sit behind the partner sign-in. Public pages describe the products; the portal carries the versions partners install against.

That distinction matters more than it sounds. A datasheet on the public site says what a Halo H30 can do. The commissioning standard in the portal says what a technician must record before a customer accepts one. Partners are measured against the second document, so it has to be the current one, every time, for every partner in every region.

Why did it move in 2026?

Because partners were asking the right questions in the wrong place.

Our regional enablement teams were answering the same questions by email every week, often from memory, often from the previous release. The 2026 move put the portal, with certification tracking and the answers behind every commissioning standard, on Vera by UnicornIQ. The change partners noticed first was not the sign-in screen. It was that an answer now arrives with the document it came from, at the version that is current.

What does a partner field engineer ask?

Specifics, on site, with a customer watching.

Which Kinetic M4 configurations ship with a hot-swap battery. What the acceptance tolerance for a Halo node is (±5 mm at 40 m, from the current standard). Which Atlas release the customer's safety case should cite. The engineer gets the answer and the source, and can show the customer the page. That is the difference between a promise and a lookup.

It also changes what a regional team hears. The questions that reach a person are now the ones a document cannot settle: a site with an unusual mount, a customer policy that conflicts with a standard, a judgement call on a safety-case revision. Those are the questions our teams are for.

What does a partner sales lead ask?

What is current and what is not.

Which Sentinel release is sold (3.8) and which is a preview (4.0, since 2026-03-12). What the Sirdar reference site configuration contains. Which specialization a deal requires and whether the partner holds it. Sales leads also read the weekly bulletin there, so the regional team and the partner are working from the same week's facts.

What does a partner's security desk ask?

Procedure, during an investigation.

The partner of record's security desk claims investigations in the Sentinel console; the portal is where the desk reads the EN-200 deployment guide, the responsible-disclosure practice and the returns procedure if a node has to come out. During the Port of Halvard investigation described elsewhere on this blog, the desk that claimed it belonged to Northgate Technologies, and the containment steps it reviewed are the ones the standard describes.

How does certification tracking work for a partner?

Per person, visible to the partner and to the customer who asks.

Each certified engineer, architect and operator has a record in the portal: the certification, the date and whether it is current. The record belongs to the person as well as to the partner, so a partner can staff a commissioning from it and a customer can be told, by name, who holds what. A partner's tier in the Sirdar Partner Network follows from those records and from the practices the partner has built. When a buyer asks a certified partner who will commission the site, the partner can answer from the portal with names and certifications, which is why Sirdar tells buyers to ask.

What has not changed?

The standards, the tiers and the people.

The move changed where the material lives and how it is found, not what it says. The Safety Case Standard is the same document. The four tiers (Authorized, Select, Premier and Elite) and the seven specializations are the same. The regional enablement teams are still there; they spend less of their week forwarding PDFs and more of it on site.

What should a new partner do first?

Sign in, and ask the portal the question you would have emailed.

The first week in the Sirdar Partner Network is spent on the SPN Program & Pricing material and the Sentinel Sales Specialist material, both in the portal. After that, the fastest way to learn how Sirdar works is to ask the portal how Sirdar works, and read the source it hands back.

Questions and answers

Who can use the Sirdar Partner Portal?
Partners in the Sirdar Partner Network. Public product pages are open to everyone; standards, release notes, bulletins and certification records sit behind the partner sign-in.
What changed when the portal moved in 2026?
Answers now come from Sirdar's current documents with the source attached, and certification tracking lives in the same place. The standards and tiers themselves did not change.
Can a customer see a partner's certifications?
A customer asks the partner, who can answer from the portal's per-person certification record with names, certifications and dates.
Does the portal replace Sirdar's regional teams?
No. Regional enablement teams still support partners; the portal takes the repeated document questions so the teams spend more time on site.
